Post Start problem. Intermittent power when the key is turned. Now dead.

Hi All.
I have a 2008 vespa LX150. Working fine until yesterday. I pressed the electronic ignition button as usual (holding the brake). Thumb slipped off half way through the crank. Tried the button again but this time no lights, power, nothing, completely dead, not even the red immobilizer light on. Lifeless.

I suspected and checked the fuses (2x15A next to battery, 2x7.5A behind the front panel.) all looked Fine. I Replaced them anyway. Still nothing.

I pulled the casing off (glove box panel) and checked around for any obvious problems. Nothing I could see.

I moved some wires as I was rooting around, and the power came on again and the ignition button cranked the engine as normal!

Then it died again while i wasnt looking. The wire that seemed to be affecting things was the immobilizer ariel wire. I moved some wires again and managed to get it started when the power returned, and then get the scooter home (5 mins up the street) but today no matter what I do it will not show any power.

I also tried using the master key in case there was a problem with the blue key not registering with the immobilizer but nothing.

I recently replaced the ignition switch switch (https://scooterpartsco.com/lx-150/lx-150-electrical/ignition-key-switch-vespa-et-lx-s-580621-643133?zenid=a57fd806773378b6a6ccadbdb9db4d89)
which was loose and problematic but the new one has been working fine, and when the power did eventually come on the switch did its job and worked just fine. There is just no power at all. Lifeless.

Any thoughts here? Intermittent power when the key is turned.

NB If it is the immobilizer ariel (although there would be power evident , just no cranking as the immobilizer kills that), and I buy a replacement, will it need some kind of coding?

Thanks all!
